Cynthia Petry
Biography
Cynthia C. Petry is collage artist from Ashland, Ohio. Her artwork focuses on mixed media and assemblages that relate to the preconceived notions of women juxtapositioned with science ephemera. Petry is the director of the Coburn Gallery at Ashland University as well as a professional instructor. She received her bachelor’s degree in studio art from Morehead State University and a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in printmaking from Ohio University.
