Biography
I have been a Beachwood resident for 50 years and had a short career teaching in the Beachwood schools and then working in real estate. I have been painting for 40 some years with formal training at Cuyahoga Community College where I took drawing, Life drawing and painting. I also took classes at George Zetzer's studio in Cleveland. Over the years I have painted on silk, done mixed media three dimensional work and now am stretching to become more abstract. I usually begin with a scene or a theme that I want to convey. Most often I want my paintings to express fun and happiness and I am drawn to bright colors. My hope is that my paintings inspire curiosity and also sometimes just joy.
