Biography
Hazel H. Brown is a painter and retired Human Resources professional living in Beachwood, Ohio. She earned a BA in Art History from the University of Delaware, an MA in Art History from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
While raising a family and developing her business career, Hazel took painting and sculpture courses at different art centers. She has studied with local artists, including: John Clague (deceased), Susan Graham (deceased), Robert Raack, Judy Carducci, Susan Porges, Christopher Leeper, and others around the country. Since 2011, she has focused on painting and volunteering in the Cleveland community. Hazel and her husband, Neil, have lived in Beachwood for over 32 years.
