Biography
I have lived in Beachwood for over 30 years raising a family, building a career, and studying and making art. Working with Ohio artists Robert Raack, Chris Leeper and Susan Porges, as well as others, I developed my techniques and principles in drawing, painting and composition. I worked in a range of mediums including watercolor, pastel, oil and others.
Today, I’m retired from business and enjoy working as an artist and a community volunteer. I like to work in different mediums based upon how the subject moves me. When I think about my art, it is probably most inspired by the color, light, values and forms found in nature. And, through painting I hope to capture the joy of a beautiful day, an exciting setting, or simply, the spirit of “being there”.
