Biography
John Martin is a retired business owner and has been a Cleveland area resident for almost 40 years. His art making started in 2007 as a student at Cleveland Institute of Art. He concentrates on printmaking, painting and drawing at his studio with Artful at Coventry Peace Park and at Zygote Press. Gesture and narrative are important aspects of his work.
Juried exhibitions that have featured his work include Fairmount Center for the Arts, Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, Valley Art Center, Beachwood Arts Council, Morgan Conservatory, The Gallery at Lakeland, and Trumbull Art Gallery.
