Biography
I’m the owner/operator of an Art Studio in Solon, Ohio (formerly in Beachwood) where I teach pastels, oils and watercolors. I also travel around the world teaching Plein Air (outdoor) Painting Workshops. I love painting Landscapes, Still Lifes and Portraits and welcome commissions
For the time being, due to Covid, I am teaching individually through an exciting Mentorship Program I started last spring. In addition, my Instructional Pastel Videos which I produce twice monthly can be found @ patreon.com/susanporges.
I am a Juried Member of many national art organizations including the Pastel Society of America. I’ve earned many National Awards for my work and am published by Northlight Books. I am represented by ketubah.com. You can find more info about my teaching and see more of my work on my website.
